Two reviewers selected Coming to Terms as their favorite album of the year.  "Under Our Bridge" was also selected as the Track of the Year by one reviewer.  “Losing Game” was also selected as the Track of the Year by another reviewer.

* “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” is selected to appear on the Best of High School A Cappella compilation.

*  Six Feet Apart is honored by the Recorded A Cappella Recording Board on the Picks of 2020 as a Favorite Album. Two reviewers selected Six Feet Apart as their favorite album of the year.  "Six Feet Apart" was also selected as the Track of the Year by one reviewer and second favorite Track of the Year by another reviewer.

* Covid-19 Pandemic Cancels TAG Performance at International A Cappella Festival in Milan, Italy

* Groups records a video of "This Is Me" using cell phones during the pandemic.  Video goes viral gaining 300,000 views in 24 hours.

* Group records their 13th album in June at Lighthouse Wealth Management in downtown Fort Myers and following strict Covid-19 protocols

 

2018-2019

* "Animal Spirits" is selected to appear on the Voices Only 2018 compilation.

* The group's eleventh album, 11:11, is released in October. 

* Performed for the ACDA State Conference at Stetson University in November

* 11:11 is selected by the Recorded A Cappella Review Board on the Picks of 2018 as the second favorite album by two of the reviewers.  "You Don't Love Me Anymore" was named as favorite track of the year by one reviewer..

* Two tracks from Kiss the Ceiling are honored by the Recorded A Cappella Review Board in the Picks of 2017.  "Expensive" and "Nothing More" were both named as runner-up for track of the year.

* TAG appears at The Betsy A Cappella Festival in Miami Beach.

* The group's eighth album, Bright, is released in September

*  The group is selected as a feature performer at The Betsy A Cappella Festival in Miami Beach.  The group wows the crowd and earns an enthusiastic standing ovation.

*  Bright is honored by the Recorded A Cappella Recording Board on the Picks of 2015 as a Favorite Album.  One reviewer selected Bright as their favorite album of the year and another listed it as their second favorite album.  "Burn It Down" and "High" were both listed as runner-up for track of the year.  This is the second year in a row that TAG has been honored on the Picks of the Year by rarb.org

2014-2015

*  "American Boy" is selected to appear on the 2014 Voices Only compilation, becoming the first high school group selected for Voices Only

*  The group's seventh album, Stay Gold, is released in September.

Stay Gold is honored by the Recorded A Cappella Recording Board on the Picks of 2014 as a Favorite Album.  Two reviewers selected Stay Gold as their favorite album of the year.  "Stay Gold" was also picked by one reviewer as favorite song of the year and by another reviewer as runner-up for favorite song of the year.  This is the first time that The A Cappella Group has ever received these honors from rarb.org.

*  The group hosts professional a cappella group Overboard in concert.

*  The group's third album, High Tide, is released in September.

*  The group is invited to perform for a General Session at the Florida Music Educator's Conference. TAG earns a standing ovation from 1,000 music educators.

*  2011 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards
         Best High School Solo - Taylor Nave for "Many The Miles"

* Spring Tour included concerts with Palm Beach Harbor University High School, George Jenkens High School and Boone High School

* Recorded the group's third album, High Tide.  The album becomes the first TAG album recorded by Liquid 5th Productions.

 

2008-2009

2005-2006

*  Recorded first album at Studio Sea during April and May

 

2003-2004

* The group was founded during this school year after All Night Yahtzee from Florida State University visited and sang for the choirs in the Spring of 2003.  The song Beautiful originally by Christina Aguilera is credited as the song that founded TAG

*  After many hours of deliberations, the group is unable to come up with a creative name and resorts to calling itself The A Cappella Group.  TAG is soon discovered as a marketable nickname.


* The group was selected to open for the Four Tops at Barbara B Mann Performing Arts Hall and wowed the sold out crowd, earning a rousing standing ovation.

* Spring Tour includes group exchange with The Mane Event at Leon High School in Tallahassee and opening for All Night Yahtzee at Florida State University.
