Students that wish to audition for the American Choral Directors Association National Honor Choir must submit their audition by this date. The National Honor choirs occur every two years in conjunction with the ACDA National Convention. The convention this year is in Cincinnati, OH. The dates of the convention are February 22-25, 2023. Auditions are solely based on a vocal audition. There is no sight singing or music theory component as there is with the All-State Audition. If you are accepted, you will get to sing with the best singers from all over the country, as well as some international singers.

There are three choirs this year for high school students. There is Junior High Chorus, which includes 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students. There is a Senior High SATB Chorus and a Senior High SSAA Chorus for grades 10-12. Sopranos and Altos may audition for both choirs. I highly recommend auditioning for one of these choirs.
