Do to unforeseen circumstances, TAG will be holding mid-year auditions to possibly add some new talent. We are looking to fill some holes in personnel. The results of this audition could result in adding up to 3 members, but could result in adding zero members if no one who can fill the particular holes has a great audition.
The audition material will consist of learning the two audition songs. The sheet music is in the DOCUMENTS section and the learning tracks for those songs is located in the MUSIC - TAG LEARNING TRACKS section of this site. You are free to choose the part that fits your voice best. You will be singing your part while the MIXDOWN track is played. Only practice with the mixdown after you use the specific part track to learn the part.
Soprano 1, Soprano 2, Alto 1, Alto 2 and Tenor 1 and all of the tracks usually covered by traditional female voices. The Tenor 2, Baritone and Bass and covered by traditional male voices. If you are interested in auditioning for vocal percussion or beatboxing, you will perform your percussion while the mixdown track plays.
There is also an optional solo audition. If you choose to sing a solo, it should be less than a minute and a cappella, of course. It should be a popular style. Musical Theatre or classical solos will not be considered.
