Urinetown, the Tony winner for Best Book of a Musical and Best Score of a Musical, is a brilliant spoof of dystopian future and a send up of Broadway history. Urinetown is a satirical musical set in a dystopian future where a 20-year drought causes a severe water shortage. Private toilets are banned, and citizens must pay a fee to use public restrooms run by the corrupt Urine Good Company (UGC).
